Republican Knute Buehler is trying to convince voters he knows how to end homelessness, but he consistently voted against measures to address Oregon’s affordable housing crisis.
Buehler voted against protecting vulnerable renters. He voted against increasing the supply of affordable housing. He opposes the Metro housing bond proposal to build at least 2,400 affordable housing units. Buehler even voted against funding for rental assistance to help elderly Oregonians and people with disabilities.
